The MainStreet Family Care Preceptorship Program empowers you – an aspiring family nurse practitioner or physician assistant – to gain real world, hands-on experience and mentorship in a fast-paced urgent care environment. This program aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical clinical skills, preparing you to skyrocket your career in healthcare!

Program Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited physician assistant program or at least your second clinical semester of an accredited family nurse practitioner program.
- Passion for making a difference in rural healthcare.
- Desire to work in urgent care.
Application Timelines
- Physician Assistant applications are open year-round on a rolling basis.
- Family Nurse Practitioner applications are open three times a year: April 1-30 for the fall program, August 1-31 for the spring program, and December 1-31 for the summer program.
