We are happy to accept major insurance, Medicaid as well as Medicaid Managed Care Plans. If you don’t see your carrier on the list, feel free to ask the front desk staff when you visit and we’ll be happy to help verify your coverage. We accept individuals without insurance, eligible Veterans, and Medicaid patients as well. Due to the fact that each plan is different, please read below to learn more. As a result, we can better serve you and your specific needs.

Insurance and Medicaid Accepted At MainStreet Family Care

We accept most major insurance plans. However, it is your responsibility to bring along your valid government-issued ID. We require this for each visit. Subsequently, we require that all patients have a valid, non-expired ID present in order to be seen by a provider. By clicking your clinic location below, you can find a list of insurance and Medicaid accepted at your MainStreet Family Care clinic.

You Don’t Need a Medicaid Referral to See Us

If you have another primary care provider, you don’t need a referral to come see us.

Medicaid Patients Can Come to Us for Urgent Care

Since Medicaid patients don’t need a referral, you can come to see us for urgent care. Life happens. We know kids get bumps and bruises and need the occasional stitches or x-ray. We also know that most primary care providers don’t have late-night or weekend hours.

VA Approved Urgent Care Facility

MainStreet Family Care is one of Alabama’s first VA authorized civilian urgent care clinics. As a result, eligible Veterans can now receive same-day treatment for minor illnesses and injuries with NO CO-PAY! Find out more information here. We are an authorized civilian urgent care facility, and we look forward to serving you.

No Insurance, No Medicaid? No Problem!

At MainStreet Family Care, we strive to treat all of our patients like family.  In order to meet this goal, we offer several payment options to accommodate all of our patients.
